Isabel Lyons

Isabel Lyons of Mann Settlement, Quebec, passed away peacefully, on August 15, 2014, with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Alexander and the late Effie (Hunnington) Mann and the beloved wife of 69 years of Henry (2010).

Isabel was a kind and generous mother and grandmother who loved her family dearly. She had the most beautiful smile. Mom loved taking road trips, visiting family and friends from far and wide. She loved to dance, laugh and truly enjoyed spending an evening playing cards.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters Eleanor (Bernie) Mahoney, Heather (Bob) Gauvin, Debrah (Rick) Watling; sons Vaughn and Conrad (Annette); daughter-in-law Vera; 13 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren and brother Sanford Mann.

Besides her parents and husband, Isabel was predeceased by her sons Kenneth (2006) and Vimy (2010), sisters Helen Law and Elzena McKinnon, and brother Alexander Mann Jr.

Funeral service was held from Maher's Funeral Chapel, Campbellton, on August 19, 2014.
