Born in Robinsonville on 23 Feb, 1947, son of the (late) Dorothy Firth and of the (late) Clinton Boudreau.
In his younger years he worked on the family farm and with his father on pulp runs in Quebec. He worked for 30 plus years as an Industrial Electrician all over NB. He was an avid story teller, inventor, and outdoorsmen, who could often be found visiting friends on his daily walks and bike rides. Sonny’s happy place was with friends and family around his wood stove at his camp perched upon a cliff overlooking all of Upsalquitch. He will live on through his stories and his love of motorcycling, snowmobiling, ATVing and fishing/hunting that he passed on to his children and grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Marilyn Boudreau, his children Shauna, Cory and Matthew Boudreau, his grandchildren Hanna, Zack, Justin and Ethan Boudreau, his brothers & sisters Ruth (Bud) Thomas, Joe (Minta) Boudreau, Lew (Ethel) Boudreau, Sandy Alexander Boudreau, David (Glenda) Boudreau, Ann (William) Murray, as well as many nieces and nephews. Sonny was part of a very large family, predeceased by nine brothers and sisters. The family will be forever grateful to Mae Firth, Ruth Thomas and Gwen Claridge for their extra love and kindness during their many visits and conversations in recent years.
A graveside ceremony will be held at the Robinsonville Community Cemetery in the Spring.
(The family would like to thank Charlene's Special Care Home and the Campbellton Village Nursing Home and their staff for their wonderful care.)
