It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Crystal after a brief illness. She has gone home to be with her Lord. Crystal was born in Salmon Arm B.C. She was the first born child to Al and Eunice Harris. At 4 years old the family moved to Duncan where she grew up.
She became a nurse and fulfilled her love of travel by working and living in Texas, Hawaii, California and Seattle before she settled back on Vancouver Island working for many years at the Alder Medical clinic in Campbell River.
In 1992 she married her best friend and the love of her life- Dan Johnson, adopting his 3 children Andi, Carli and Jesse in 1993 completing the family with Jake.
She will be very missed, she was our Angel on earth.
Crystal is predeceased by her parents Alan and Eunice Harris and is survived by her husband Dan, Daughters Andi and Carli, Sons Jesse (Alanna), and Jake (Shelby); her grandchildren Annabelle and Jack; Her 2 sisters Susan (Rob) Hawkes and Tara Harris.
There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 11:00 am at the Sayward Heritage Hall 1257 Sayward Rd.
