RHYNO – Bernard Kenneth Grant age 68 originally of Queens Land Halifax Co., N.S. passed away Friday July 17, 2015 at 4:30 a.m. at home in Campbell River, B.C. His daughter Faye Rhyno was with him to the end. Born January 22, 1947 at the Grace Maternity in Halifax, he grew up in Hubbards/Queensland area and attended Shatford Memorial School in Hubbards.
Kenneth was the son of Herald C. Rhyno and Ellen E. Rhyno (Dorey) – both deceased. Kenneth is survived by his daughter Fay Rhyno, Truro N.S.; Daughter Patricia Rhyno, Wesville, N.S.; siblings Harold Rhyno, Bridgewater, N.S.; twin sister Shirley Hoben, Bridgewater, N.S.; Patricia Corkum, Mount Pleasant, N.S.; Willie Rhyno, Chester, N.S. Kenneth also leaves stepchildren Leigh Grey, Cathy Gray and Phil Grey. Eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He is also survived by good friends Violet Hepher; Bonnie and Johnny Hermen and many more.
His body has been cremated and ashes will be spread at a later date in Nova Scotia and British Columbia.
A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
