Born on April 8, 1949, in Harrisburg, PA, to the late Fred and Jean Haas.
He was a graduate of Harrisburg Area Community College and spent his working life at Amp/Tyco in Harrisburg for 36 years.
Surviving Fred is his loving wife of 52 years, Janice Haas; sons, Steven C. Haas and Michael R. Haas; grandchildren, Ethan F. Haas and Piper E. Haas; sisters, Linda Conrad (late Ted Conrad) and Dorothy Larson (Eric), and sister in-law, Deborah Minner (Keith); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Fred was always the life of the party. He enjoyed spending time on the beach with friends and family. Loved watching the Baltimore Orioles and the University of Oregon Ducks football games.
Fred always had a smile on his face and always wanted to make sure you did too! All of his family and friends will dearly miss him.
A visitation for Fred will be held Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Neill Funeral Home, 3401 Market St, Camp Hill, Pennsylvania 17011, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association.
