She was born on July 14, 1951 in Muncy, PA, to the late Dane Ernest Detrick and Helen (Byron) Detrick.
She is survived by her loving husband, David Patton; her son, Byron Patton, his wife Sherin Varghese and their children, Lillian and Vivian Patton; her daughter, Margaret Patton; four sisters and one brother.
Anne graduated from East Stroudsburg University and received her master’s degree from Penn State University. She spent her career working as a teacher and reading specialist, and she had a lifelong love of books. In her retirement years, she loved to spend time and travel with her family, especially her grandchildren who she cherished dearly. Anne’s most enduring quality was her incredible generosity to her family and close friends.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2023 from 10:00-11:00am at Neill Funeral Home; 3401 Market Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. A memorial service will begin at 11:00am.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be made to Harrisburg Area Food Pantry.
