It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Black. He passed away peacefully in his sleep at Grand River Hospital in his 96th year on Sunday, April 23, 2017.
Cherished father of Peter Black and Charles Black , beloved grandfather of Peter Black (Trevor), and Whitney Black. Predeceased by his loving wife Margaret Black (nee Bayne).
William was a celebrated veteran of WWII and a lover of big band music, his favourite being Frank Sinatra. He was an avid curler and an active member of the Probus Club for 20 years.
A private family service will be held in the coming days .
