Peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 19, 2010 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved Wife of the late Gordon Walker and the late Bill Bradshaw. Dear Mother of Arlene Paine (Fischer) (Franks) and her husband Ed. Loving Gram of Kate Dinham (nee Fischer) and her husband Jeff and Great Gram to Chloe Violet Dinham. Survived by her Brother Tom Hammond and his wife Marg of Portugal Cove, Newfoundland and their children. Violet was born in Portugal Cove, Newfoundland. She was a committed Nurse for over 30 years at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital. After retirement, she was very active with the Cambridge Seniors Club and was a founding member of the Cambridge Seniors Choir. Visitation will be at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, September 22, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held from the Chapel of Coutts Funeral Home on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 10 a.m. (with visitation one hour prior to service time). In loving memory of Violet, donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
