Born on January 7, 1946, in Hannover, Germany, Veronica lived a life full of love, happiness, literature and art. She peacefully passed away on October 18th at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Through it all, she never lost her spirit, thoughtfulness and kind nature. She was pre-deceased by her parents, Fred and Estha, her brother Wilfred, her first husband, Richard O'Brien, and her second husband, Robert Green. Missing her everyday is her sister Irene (Mahmut), her daughter Kristen (Jeff and Allison), her nephew Jay (MaryEllen, Lyra, Denna and Oskar), and her nieces Sarai (Mark, Owen and Mia) and Melissa (Clay), along with many dear friends.
Her family invites you to celebrate her life (along with that of her recently-departed beloved, Robert Green) at The Cambridge Centre for the Arts on Saturday, October 26 at 12:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
We hope that Veronica’s spirit is drifting down the Grand River in a canoe, with the wind in her hair, a book in one hand and a pen in the other. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of your choice.
