Sylvia Annette Harshuk, born January 17, 1932 in Galt, peacefully passed away on June 30, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, Harry and Emilia, and her brother Alexander (Helen). Sylvia is survived by her beloved sister Mary, with whom she shared a lifetime of companionship and support. She was also an Aunt and Great Aunt to the Law family, Will and Joanne and their children Bill, Heather, David, Kevin, Andrew, Mark and Emily. Sylvia will truly be missed at all the family gatherings where we all shared many great memories together.
Sylvia graduated from GCI and embarked on a successful career, contributing her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering reliability to several companies including Scroggin Shoe, K-Vet, and Rauscher Plating. Her dedication and competence made a lasting impact on all who worked with her.
In her personal life, Sylvia played a crucial role in caring for her sister Mary, fulfilling roles as household manager, chauffeur, accountant, and renowned cookie baker. Their bond was deep and enduring, reminiscent of the beloved characters from "The Odd Couple."
In her final years, Sylvia resided on Margaret Street, where she and Mary embraced community life, enjoying bingo nights, potluck dinners and forming cherished friendships with fellow residents.

Sylvia's legacy of dedication, warmth and kindness will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A memorial visitation will be held on July 09, 2024, at 11:00 am at T. Little Funeral Home, 223 Main St, Cambridge, Ontario. A Funeral Liturgy will follow at 12:00 pm, with a luncheon to honor Sylvia's life before internment at Mount View Cemetery at 2:00 pm. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations in Sylvia's honour are greatly appreciated to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.
