Miroslav Slovacek & Maria Slovackova

With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Miroslav and Maria on Thursday, November 11, 2021. Miroslav passed away at Innisfree House at the age of 73 and Maria passed away at Cambridge Memorial Hospital just hours after the news of her husbands passing at the age of 69. To lose them both at once has been devastating but we take comfort in knowing they're together, never having to have lived a day without one another.

They will be sadly missed by their beloved daughter Martina Pistekova and son Miroslav Slovacek. Proud Grandparents to Kristyna Pistekova, Jan Pistekova, Veronica Pistekova, Tony Slovacek, Luka Slovacek, Jan Slovacek and Sasa Slovacek. They will be lovingly remembered by their extended family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 11am at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) with one hour of visitation beginning at 10am. Cremation will follow and Miroslav and Maria will later be laid to rest at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.

As expressions of sympathy, donations made in their memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
