Manuel Vieira Meneses, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 26th, 2019 at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Devoted Husband to Genoveva for 56 years. Loving Father to Esmeralda (Joe), Olga (Tracy), Floriano (Nannette), Matilde (Mauro) and Sabrina (John). Cherished Grandfather to Ryan, Melissa, Sabrina, Savana, Connor, Brooke, Alessia and Jenna. Great-Grandfather to Vayda, Benjamin and Brielle. Manuel will be dearly missed by many extended family and friends. He was a devoted member of the community and will be remembered for his fun loving attitude and his genuine joy for life. The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at St. Andrews Terrace and Cambridge Memorial Hospital for the care they provided. Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 29th, 2019 from 5 – 9 pm at Coutts Funeral Home (96 St. Andrews St., Cambridge, On.) a Funeral Mass will follow on Thursday, May 30th, 2019 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church (185 Elgin St. S., Cambridge, On.) Interment to follow at New Hope Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated.
