Promoted to glory from Lisaard House on December 18, 2015 in her 73rd year. She was born in Birmingham, England and chose Canada as her second home in 1972. She will sing Christmas carols in Heaven, her new home. Left to recall happy memories are her longtime friend, Mona Haskell; her sister-in-law Joan Jones; several nieces and nephews in England and cousins in Canada. June retired from the Provincial Courts in 1999 and the Regional POA Court in 2006. She was a very involved member of the Salvation Army, Cambridge and Birmingham. A Celebration of June’s life will be held on Wednesday, December 30th at The Salvation Army Citadel, 16 Shade Street, Cambridge/Galt at 7 p.m. Visitation will take place 1 hour prior at 6 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to Lisaard House or The Salvation Army, Cambridge.
