Joseph Dominic Morell

Beloved husband to Joyce Doreen Morell (nee Brooks) of 70 wonderful years, he is remembered by his nieces Sandra McCulligh of Elora and Robin Rishel of New York, USA and brother-in-law Ken Brooks (Dorothy) of San Diego, California and the many friends who enriched his life. Joseph was predeceased by his parents Alice and Dominic Morell, his daughter Judith Ann Morell and his brother Ray Morell.

Joseph was an avid marksman and in recent years enjoyed shooting sporting clays as a member of the Galt Sportsman Club. Joseph loved and had an innate talent for woodcarving water fowl. He loved animals and was a book enthusiast. Each day he would sit reading in his chair with their little dog Annie at his side.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650).

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to The Canadian Cancer Society in Joseph’s memory.
