Passed away peacefully, on Monday, April 21, 2014, at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, in his 82nd year. Loving Dad of John-Paul Krauss (Debbie) of Salt Spring Island, B.C., Denis Krauss of Cambridge, Henry Krauss (Doreen) of Cambridge, Louise Zoet of Listowel, Anne Turner of Cambridge, Anita Chamberland (Jacques) of Wellesley, Monica Hamilton of Spencerville and Judy Chamberland (Pierre) of Bath. John will be sadly missed by his many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Brother of Hermann Krauss of Germany. Predeceased by his wife Pauline (nee Tessier) Krauss (2000), sons-in-law Jon Turner and Gerry Marchand. In accordance with John’s wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no formal visitation. A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 3, 2014, at 1:30p.m., at Marian Residence, 640 Hillview Road, Cambridge. John’s family would like to thank the Sisters and staff of Marian Residence, most especially Sister Anne, for all their care and love.
