Peacefully passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Sunday, November 10, 2019 at PeopleCare Hilltop Manor in her 95th year. Loving Mother to Murray (Sylvia) Brundage, Linda (John) Marjerrison and Barb (Rick) Charlebois. Proud Grandma to seven grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Dear sister to Margaret Gibson. Jean is predeceased by her beloved husband Allan (2005) along with her ten brothers and sisters. Jean will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her extended family and friends.
Jean was extremely devoted to her family and loved them with all her heart. She proudly volunteered her time and energy in Pediatrics at the Cambridge Memorial Hospital for almost 30 years reflecting her love and care for children. She also volunteered for many years at the hospital’s Blood Donor clinics supporting those who were giving the gift of life.
Friends and family will be received on Friday, November 15, 2019 at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) from 5- 9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held the following day, on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Mount View Cemetery, Cambridge.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made in Jean's memory to the Cambridge Memorial Hospital Foundation.
