Isabelle Edith Gambling passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the age of 88.
Mom loved to crochet and cross-stitch, and created many beautiful projects over the years. She also enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her sons Stephen and Richard, daughter-in-law Neda, grandchildren Carolyn, Allison, and Paniz, sisters Betty, Marg, and Jackie, brothers George and Larry, and many nieces and nephews. Isabelle is now reunited with her beloved husband Jack, brothers Donald and Phillip, sisters Ruth and Shirley, her grandson Nathan Richard Gambling, and her best friend Ivy Maile. Friends and relatives are invited to Isabelle’s Memorial Service on Saturday, March 31st at 11:00 a.m. at Barthel Funeral Home. Interment will take place at Parklawn Cemetery, and a reception will follow at the Preston Legion (lower level) from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
