Helen Noreen Ford was surrounded by her son Darren and sister Donna at C.M.H. on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 when she completed her earthly journey.
Born December 17, 1943 on Bell Island, Newfoundland, Helen was a longtime member of St. John’s Anglican Church and the Anglican Church Women. Helen was a social butterfly, and loved to meet with her “mall buddies” every Tuesday. Left to mourn are her son Darren Ford of Cambridge, her sisters Maxine McKee and her late husband Jim of Ohio, Donna Bennett and her husband Murray of Cambridge, Dorothy King and her husband John of Newfoundland, her sister-in-law Wendy Kitchen, and brother-in-law Joe DeLorenzis. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Vera Kitchen, her husband Bart Ford (2010), brother Reid, sisters Peta DeLorenzis and Cheryl Byrne, and brother-in-law Dennis. Missed and remembered by her many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews. A Visitation will be held at Barthel Funeral Home (566 Queenston Road, Cambridge) on Sunday, October 3rd from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, October 4th at 11:00 am at St. John’s Anglican Church (567 Queenston Road, Cambridge).
