Passed away peacefully at Woodstock general Hospital on Sunday, November 14, 2010, in his 82nd year. Fred was a gentle soul who loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman (especially at his favourite spot in Meaford). Fred lived on Greenfield Road, North Dumfries for most of his life. Fred leaves behind his beloved wife Viola (nee Wright) for the past 34 years, and stepfather to Peter Schramm and partner Shirley Nan, Richard Schramm and wife Pamela (Zulak). Also remembered by his grandchildren Elizabeth, Thomas, Jennifer, Alicia, Joel, Paul and Daniel. Fred also leaves behind a half brother, Donald Gaston and many other family members and his dog Toby.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m.. Funeral Service will be held from the Coutts Chapel on Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 3 p.m.. Cremation will be followed by interment at Mt. View Cemetery.
