Frank was an avid coin collector, cyclist, and cross-country skier who loved the outdoors, camping, and fishing. He truly enjoyed spending time with his family and the people he loved. Frank was a longstanding, dedicated employee of 40 years at Babcock & Wilcox/BWTX. He will be deeply missed by his wife Linda Kennedy and his daughters Caitlyn Piraino and Gemma Piraino. Frank was the beautiful, beloved son of Raimondo Piraino (deceased) and Angela Marmai. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters Enza Osborn (John), Eda Piraino-Crandon (Ulric), and Patrizia (Andrew Coe), sisters-in-law Teresa Kennedy (Carlos Ruas) and Elaine Kennedy, and his nieces and nephews Stuart, Angelina, Sara, Sage, Janelle, Garran, Umberto, Patrizia, Cohen, and Adriana. A Visitation will be held at Barthel Funeral Home on Thursday, November 11th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor funeral services for those age 12 and older. Masks are required. Vigil prayers to be said at 3:45 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Clement’s Church (745 Duke Street, Cambridge) on Friday, November 12th at 11am. Cremation will follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the St. Mary’s General Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
