Survived by his sister Deborah Farrell-Forth (Ken), niece Melanie Milito (Julian), nephew Matthew Milito (Mehgan), step-son David Anderson (Tracey), granddaughters Jemma & Brooklyn Anderson, brother-in-law Peter Palvetzian (Donna and their children) and special friends Rose & Frank Takacs.
Predeceased by his wife, the love of his life, Jo-Ann Anderson (Palveztian), his mother May Farrell (McNab), step father Steve Farrell, father Stanley Culley and lifelong best friend Doug Domonchuk (Little Doug).
Born in Cambridge Ontario. Doug attended Culinary School and was a chef in many restaurants from fine dining to everyday restaurants in Ontario and British Columbia. Enrolled in the Military in British Columbia. Back in Ontario, Doug attended Conestoga College for carpentry and did this for the balance of his life for Aya Kitchens, Handyman Connection and his own personal business Carpentry Plus.
A very special thank you to Lisaard House for their amazing care and compassion the last week of his life. Thank you also to the emergency staff, 4th floor staff and oncology team at Cambridge Memorial Hospital. Thank you also to the rest of the family and his friends for their love and support over the years.
Cremation has taken place. As per Douglas’s wishes, there will be no visitation or service.
