Loving father to Cassie Butt (Zack Small) and Chad Butt and dear brother to Rick and Roger Butt. Brian will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephews, cousins in Florida and many friends.
Brian had a unique way of lighting up every room he entered. Known for his boundless charisma, Brian had a natural gift for making connections. He thrived in social settings, effortlessly turning strangers into friends and leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds—Brian was always the first to offer help, whether to a neighbor in need or a friend going through a tough time.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Brian had a deep love for hockey. He proudly played as a goalie in his younger years and carried that passion throughout his life as a devoted fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also cheered passionately for the Toronto Blue Jays and the Detroit Lions, always loyal to his teams through every season.
Brian had a profound love of music, finding joy and solace in its melodies. Whether sharing songs with friends or immersing himself in his favorite tunes, music was a source of inspiration and connection throughout his life.
A perpetual optimist, Brian refused to dwell on the negative. Even in challenging moments, he found the silver lining and encouraged others to do the same. His uplifting outlook and belief in the good in people were hallmarks of his character.
Beyond his love of people, sports, and music, Brian had a passion for golf and travel. Whether on the greens with his buddies or exploring new destinations, he cherished every moment of adventure and camaraderie.
Brian’s warmth, laughter, and unwavering kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew him, but his legacy of joy and love will live on in the hearts of his family and countless friends.
