Peacefully passed away on Monday, October 17th, 2022 at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener at the age of 97.
He is together once again with his beloved wife Audrey (nee Rushman) (2015) and his two sons: Greg (2000) and Barry (2022). Loving father of Valorie Escobar, Mark (Maureen) Cromwell, Kim McMurran (Howard) and father-in-law to Jen Cromwell. Proud grandfather to many grand and great-grandchildren. Dear brother to Francis (Doris) Cromwell and Jean (Yvonne) Brisson. Predeceased by his sister Grace “Betty” (Norm) Burt, son-in-law Ed Escobar and sister-in-law Doris Cromwell. Albert will be forever remembered by his extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 20, 2022 from 1-2 p.m. at Coutts Funeral Home, 96 St. Andrews Street, Cambridge (519-621-1650) followed by a Funeral Service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
As expressions of sympathy, donations made in Albert’s memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
Heartfelt thanks to Mark and Maureen for taking care of dad - doing so meant that he was able to be comfortable and with family these last two years.
