Viv Ellis passed away at the Foothills Hospital on Friday, October 20, 2023 at the age of 80 years.
Viv was born in Baglan, South Wales on April 2, 1943, and had a deep passion for golf and a strong pride for being Welsh. He immigrated to Calgary in March 1968.
Viv will be lovingly remembered by his wife Judy Eddy and sons Chris (Cathy Carlson) and Mark as well as granddaughters Kaitlyn, Tenisha and Vanessa and Judy’s children John Eddy (Danielle) and Dawn Sambrook (Mike) and her grandchildren Josh, Caleb, Sam and Ben Eddy and Brie and Jude Sambrook. He is predeceased by his former wife Teena and son Ian.
Celebration of Viv’s Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
