Valerie Ann Robert

1965 - 2010

It is with great sadness that the family of Valerie ‘Val’ Ann Robert announces her sudden passing on November 28, 2010 at the age of 45 years.

Val will be sadly missed by her son Braeden Robert and his dad Kim Robert; her mother Helen Leussink; her sisters and brother Betty (John) Hardt, Wilma (Dale) Lamont, Jo-Anne Leussink, Brian (Karen) Leussink; her nieces and nephews Lisa (John) Heath, Nicole Hardt, Shaun Ellis, Ryan Ellis, Shannon Leussink and Brandon Leussink; and her great niece and nephew Hailey and Jakob Heath. Also, all Val’s animal friends will greatly miss her love and care. Val was predeceased by her father Hank Leussink.

Val lived life to the fullest. She made a career out of her passion for animals by operating a dog care business. She loved the outdoors and the country life. She was an avid traveler. She enjoyed a wide variety of music. Val had a natural ability to create beautiful arts and crafts. Val also loved going to auctions on the search for treasures. Most importantly she enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South, (at Lake Fraser Gate) Calgary on Saturday, December 4, 2010 at 2:00 p.m.
