Steve Toolie L Ryckman

July 6, 1951 – August 24, 2012

Steve passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friends in Calgary, AB on Friday, August 24, 2012 at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, Linda; his children Chris (Cinnamon), Ellen, Dustin, Tara, Angela (David), and Jamie; grandchildren Cody and Chantal; sisters Joyce (Co), Judie and Janice (Barrie); his brother Jim; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Steve also leaves to mourn his former wife Sharon “Sherry” and his longtime friend Walter Boone aka “Boonie”. He was predeceased by his daughter Carol Ann, his mother Betty and his brother Doug. Steve loved all things Harley, carpentry work and the open road. He was passionate about his grandchildren and was Chantal’s thunder buddy. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, August 31, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, #710, 10123 - 99 Street NW, Edmonton AB T5J 3H1.
