Ronald George Norrish passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, AB on Sunday, June 8, 2014 at the age of 80 years.
Ron is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife, Ellen (nee Craig) and three children: Janilea Cushnuk (Larry), Ron Norrish (Debbie) and Kari Kitiuk (Bill). Ron is also survived by four grandchildren: Tanya McMahon (Kevin), Adam Norrish (Eryn), Steven Norrish (Katrina) and Jeremiah Norrish. Great grandchildren include Krista and Ella McMahon and Grace Norrish. Ron retired from the Calgary Board of Education - Facility Management in June, 1996. He was a dedicated family man who enjoyed time spent with family and his dog, Minnie. A Memorial Service in Ron's honour will be held at St. Thomas United Church, 100 Hawkwood Boulevard N.W., Calgary at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2014. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
