

It is with great sadness, that after a long illness, we announce the passing of our mother and grandmother Patricia E.A. Turner on February 23, 2018. She was predeceased by her husband Dr. W.R. Clyne Turner. She leaves to mourn: daughter Anna; son-in-law Neil; grandchildren Christina and Max; son Angus and daughter-in-law Rowena. Also left to mourn are cousins, nieces and nephews in Scotland, England and the United States.
Patricia was born and raised in Falkirk, Stirlingshire, Scotland. She obtained degrees in home economics, general nursing and midwifery. She married her husband, Clyne, in Aberdeen, Scotland in 1963. They practiced medicine and nursing together in Scotland and England. They eventually moved to Banff, Alberta to continue their practice and finally settled in Calgary, where they raised their family.
Patricia enjoyed her ministries within Holy Spirit Parish and through this she felt richly blessed.
Patricia and her family would like to thank Holy Spirit Parish for their love and prayers throughout Patricia's journey, Chinook Hospice, Lake Bonavista Retirement Community and the Palliative Home Care team for their expertise, compassion and support during these past few months.
A Prayer Service will be held at Holy Spirit Parish, (10827 24 Street SW), on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 7:00 p.m.
A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Parish, (10827 24 Street SW), on Friday, March 2, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Following the Funeral Mass and Reception, burial will take place at Eden Brook Memorial Gardens, (24223 Township Rd 242, Calgary, AB).
