Pamela Beverley McCarthy

Pam passed away very suddenly on Friday, September 27, 2019.

Pam leaves behind her brother Ryan McCarthy (Carlene Stamler), sister Angie Quaale (David Gassaway), and father and step mother Dennis Watts & Cilla Brooke along with other extended family in Edmonton, Calgary and BC. She was predeceased by her mother, Chayle McCarthy and father David McCarthy.

Pam graduated from Bonnie Doon Composite High School in Edmonton in 1987. After years working in the insurance industry, Pam opened her very successful event planning & consulting business; "5 Star Events". She loved the work that she did as well as the people she had an opportunity to do it with.

Pam's first loves were her dogs. She was an excellent "Mom" to her fur kids and spent tons of time with them at local dog parks, walking the trails and having doggy playdates with Murphy & Karma's friends. Her second love was her friends, she had many lifelong loyal friendships and was always known as someone everyone could count on!

Pam's great passion was travel, she wanted to see the world and before her passing had visited more than 42 countries. Many of her friends and family had the opportunity to travel with Pam over the years.

“Go as many places as you can. You can always make money. You can’t always make memories” ♥️

A social event celebrating Pam's life will be held in the future but there are no immediate plans.
