Ollie will be lovingly remembered by her sister Liz, her three children, Dawna Roskies, Leo Lloyd Samoil Jr of Calgary, Lisa (Steve) Popp of Toronto; grandchildren, Jesse and Wendy Roskies, Meghan (Ryan) Armstrong, Kyle Samoil, Mitchell and Julianna Popp; and great grandchildren Isla and Owen Armstrong. Ollie was predeceased by her husband Leo Lloyd Samoil and her sisters Mary Arbter, Nell (Paul) Melnychyn, Kay (Walt) Waslewsky, Anne (Ian) Paterson and brothers Steve (Ruth) Fushtey, Andy (Mary) Fushtey and Bill (Marie) Fushtey.
Ollie will be remembered for her active lifestyle, love of tennis, golf, gardening and volunteer contributions within the community.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 9:00 a.m.
A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, on Monday, November 20, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
