Min Wai Chow

He was born in Toisan, China, immigrated to Canada in his late teens and settled in Calgary where he has lived his entire life.

Mike was known for being calm, gentle and quiet. He will be remembered for his kindness and generosity with everyone around him. Mike enjoyed cooking, growing a beautiful prize winning garden and spending time in the outdoors fishing. He was very creative and was always starting new projects. Mike was a devoted grandfather to his three grandchildren.

Mike is lovingly remembered by his four children: Ronald (Karen), Elaine (Chris), Gordon (Nadine), Nancy (Tim) and three grandchildren: Erica, Kristina and Avery; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends, as well as his brother Min Lip (Lisa). Mike is predeceased of his wife Sue Mee “Mary” who passed away in 1991.

Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at a visitation held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL on Thursday, February 23, 2023, at 2:00 PM.
