Michael was always such a happy and spunky little boy with a lot of energy. He channeled that energy in sports and hockey as a kid and teenager. Michael, also known as Mikey, became quite crafted at concrete and was a very hard worker.
Michael is survived by his mother, Karen; stepfather, Al; sister, Vanessa and her husband Dave; stepsister, Angela; stepbrother, Will and his wife Brandie; Michael is also survived by his grandparents, Tilly Olson, Larry and Agnes Chetcuti; niece, Brooklyn; as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles. He is predeceased by his father, David Welychka; grandfather, Erwin Olson; and his grandmother Barbara Welychka.
A Funeral Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4th Street NW, Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m.
