At the age of 93, Mary Bibeau passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on February 28, 2014. She moved to Calgary at the age of 78 to be closer to her son Brian and his family. There were many Sunday dinners and family birthday celebrations where she enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was actively involved in their lives. We have many fond memories of her always having her knitting with her and a project on the go for someone.
Over the past 14 years Mary could be found volunteering at the Wise Owl Boutique in the Kerby Centre where she made many lasting friendships. In the last year she enjoyed her Wednesdays at Millrise and the new friendships she made there.
Mary will be greatly missed by all her friends and family. She continued to travel and live independently until the end.
At Mary’s request there will be no service.
Following the cremation, she will be taken back to Montreal where she will rest in peace.
