Errol was a proud member of The City of Calgary Police Service and retired as an Inspector in May of 1991. Family and friends were important to Errol and in return he was loved for his big heart, his quick, quiet wit, and his never ending supply of power tools. Errol was a skilled renovator, mastering all things wood and electrical. He had a passion for the outdoors and was an avid hunter and accomplished hiker (completing both the West Coast and Chillkoot Trails).
Errol was predeceased by his wife Chere in March of this year after fifty one years of marriage. He is survived by his daughters, Roxanna Indergaard (Dean Fleming) of Calgary, AB, and Candace Rimbey (Shawn) of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Breanna Gilmour (Marc Deniset), Kailen Gilmour (Randi Bateman), Ellery Fleming, Jacy Fleming, Ethan Rimbey; Sjoren Rimbey and great-grandson, Orin Gilmour. He was predeceased by his parents Marvin and Marie Indergaard. He is survived by his sister Mavis Schaber, her children and their families.
The family would like to invite those who knew Errol to Celebrate his Life at the Mount Pleasant Community Association (602 - 22 Avenue Northwest, Calgary, Alberta, T2M 3C6) on Saturday, December 19, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, Errol had requested that support be given to the Calgary Police Museum.
