He was born in Calgary on Good Friday, April 13, 1951. Lorne attended school and resided in Calgary all his life. He retired from Alpha Milk in 1992. Lorne and his wife Brenda had thirty wonderful years together. They especially enjoyed their timeshare in the mountains; walking, watching the deer and feeding peanuts to the squirrels around the chalet.
Lorne is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his loving wife, Brenda; his sister, Wendy Messer (Howard), sister Myrna Wood, and brother, Donald Wood (Sonja).
He is predeceased by his parents, Noreen and Dewees Wood and siblings Dewees Wood, Sharron Herriot and Robin Wood.
To all friends and family, remember all the wonderful times we have shared together. At Lorne’s request, there will be no funeral service. If friends and family so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to your charity of choice.
