Lena was born in Grenfell, Saskatchewan on January 23, 1918. She married Gordon McCuskee in 1942 in Regina, Saskatchewan where they lived until they moved with their family to Calgary in the mid 1950’s. Lena is survived by her son, Richard; five grandchildren, Leah (Darcy) Toles, Lisa (Rod) Matechuk, Leanne McCuskee, Christopher (Mary Kwong) and Maegan (Alex) Greaves. She is also survived by five great grandchildren; Karlissa, Marshall, Kiersten, Erin and Jordan. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon and her son Wayne.
A Memorial Service will be held at Foster’s Garden Chapel, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary, Alberta (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery), on Monday, September 16, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
