I had reached out to Kim earlier this week to see how he was doing. When I didn't hear back from him I was concerned enough to access Google where I saw his obituary.  Devasting news. Although I was aware of his ongoing health issues, I did not expect this outcome.
I will remember Kim as a dear friend, co-worker and all around bon vivant. He certainly loved life and adored being married to his best friend. 
We enjoyed some great times in Toronto and Calgary and his memory will live on.

So sorry to read of the passing of Kim. I had reached out and left an email for him quite a few weeks back but did not receive a reply. I had come across a picture of him and I at the lake where our families would swim and picnic. I enjoyed catching up with him after he joined the clinic where I worked before my “retirement”. I'm very sorry to hear of Kim's passing.
I was looking forward to seeing Kim again at the  upcoming 50th anniversary of our CJSW University Radio summer project. 
Kim was the  perfect morning show host that year or 1973 and always a presence in the studio  for the years  we attended University. With a  stroke of his beard,  out would come some  clever insight or observation, or  bit of humor.   That's the Kim I remember. 



My first thought, after reading Kim's obituary this morning, was of you Bev.  It brought to mind, the lasting  image of your smile, the joy and love for Kim whenever you spoke of him.  I dearly hope all those shared  memories will sustain you during this  very sad time .
