Judy passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 in Calgary, AB at the age of 56 after a year long fight with breast cancer. She is survived by her brother Larry; aunt and uncle Nelson and Aileen MacDonald; aunt Elsie Krasman and numerous cousins and friends. Judy was predeceased by her parents John and Lucille Krasman. Judy was born in Calgary and grew up in Brentwood graduating from William Aberhart High School. She worked for the photofinisher Mortifee Munshaw for many years and then went into retail with Storageworks and Canada Safeway. Judy loved to travel and made several trips with her great friend Bev Nickolychuk as well as with her family. Judy’s pride and joy was her salad garden where she raised a bumper crop of tomatoes and peppers every year; she was also an avid fan of the Calgary Flames and Stampeders. Our thanks go out to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Agape Hospice for their compassion and support during this difficult time. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, c/o Tom Baker Cancer Centre, 1331 – 29 Street N.W., Calgary, AB T2N 4N2 (albertacancer.ca/memorial).
