John Simm Money

John will be sadly missed by his children; Janet Money, Linda (Brent) Knapp and Stuart (Nancy) Money. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Kirsten, Andrea, Scott and Laura and great grandchildren; Austyn, Liam, McKenna, Avery and Evan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth.

John was born in Glasgow on August 28, 1923. He immigrated to Canada in 1950 with his wife and daughter. In his younger years, John served in the Royal Marines. After moving to Canada he spend many years in the construction industry in Edmonton and Vancouver. When John retired he enjoyed playing golf, traveling and spending time with his beloved family.

A Celebration of Life will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate), on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.
