Jack is survived by his wife of 30 years, Shelia, together with his five (5) children, Cathy Gilbert (Glenn Price), Karen Robinson, James Robinson, John Robinson (Pam), and Debra Robinson. Stepsons Steven Haworth (Dawn Marie), and David Haworth. As well as eleven (11) grandchildren and eight (8) great grandchildren, together with several nieces and nephews.
Jack was predeceased by his parents Robbie and Margaret Robinson of Lacombe AB, and his sister Patricia George and her husband Ted George. Jack was born in Edmonton and grew up in Lacombe, Alberta. Jack worked in the Oil and Gas industry (Amoco) and Sulphur industry (1.C.E.C) most of his life. This took him around the world where he eventually returned to Calgary in 1987, where he lived out his retirement in Calgary and Gull Lake, AB.
We know all his family and friends will miss his special calls at Christmas time.
We would like to thank the many doctors and nurses on Unit 42 at the Peter Lougheed Hospital, "Just Like Family" Palliative care at home, Dr. Roland Nichol, and Dr. Kerri Johannson. No funeral service will be held at Jack's request. In honor of Jack, memorial donations are gratefully accepted to the S.P.C.A.
