Jean was 85 years old and loved Calgary. She is fondly remembered by her daughter, Laura (Bill) Gracie; grandchildren Noel (Jenn) Gracie, Lana (David) MacPherson; great grandchild Lincoln MacPherson; precious sister-in-law Eleanor Cook and Rose Marie Watts and Bruce Tolley. Jean was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Elsie Cook and brother Robert E. Cook. Jean worshipped at Knox United Church for 50 years and was a long time member of Good Companions 50 Plus Club. She was happily chauffeured by Driving Miss Daisy. A Funeral Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with visitation prior to the service from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Alberta Cancer Foundation, 710, 10123 99 Street N.W., Edmonton, AB T5J 3H1.
