Helen Bannicke passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on Friday, January 3, 2020 at the age of 92 years.
Helen was born on the Loreth family farm in Raymore, Saskatchewan on March 28, 1927, the second youngest of 11 children. She moved to Calgary with her husband Len in 1952, and has resided here ever since. For the past three and a half years she has been a resident at the Chartwell Colonel Belcher.
Helen is survived by her daughter Jane Mason (Tim); son Stewart Bannicke (Karen); daughter Beverly Bannicke; plus 4 Grandchildren; and 8 Great Grandchildren. She is also survived by the youngest sister Beatrice.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Leonard; and nine of her siblings.
