Gloria Noel Gauthier passed away at the Strathmore Hospital on August 28, 2014 after a courageous and hard fought battle with cancer. Gloria is lovingly remembered by her siblings, Therese Lynch, Diane (Lorne) Howes, Madeline Ferguson, Joseph (Winnie) Gauthier as well as by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. She was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Olga Gauthier.
Gloria was one of the first female executives in the oil drilling industry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at SOUTH CALGARY FUNERAL CENTRE, 12700 Macleod Trail South (at Lake Fraser Gate) in Calgary, on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at 7:00 p.m.
Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at the visitation prior to service between 6:00 and 7:00 p.m.
A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria’s memory directly to the charity of your choice.
