Glenn was born and raised in Calgary and passed away in Calgary at the age of 63 with courage and dignity, on his own terms, after a brief but aggressive battle with ALS. Glenn tried his hardest to beat the rapid progression of this horrible disease but ALS wouldn't budge. His family is so proud of him for how hard he fought.
Glenn worked in the Aviation Industry for a number of years as an aircraft refueler and this is how he met Rhonda. Glenn and Rhonda were married in October 1995 and reside in Calgary. For a few years Glenn worked at a number of trucking companies as a Class 1 Driver. In April 2005 (to present) Glenn joined the City of Calgary - Calgro Department as a Class 1 Driver/Heavy Equipment Operator. He loved driving the Terra Variant/Terragators, especially on night shift when the sky was clear with all the stars above.
Collecting and playing guitars were a true passion for him along with music and exercise.
Glenn leaves behind his wife Rhonda and their amazing black cat Kiana, he always referred to her as a little sweetheart; his sister Terri/Bill Amy; sisters-in-law/brothers-in-law Dwila Slatcher, Pam/WesThomas, Jill/Derrick Jerace; nephews/nieces and their children, Mike Amy/Rushnie Partridge (Ali, Ava, Zalika, Zayleigh, Xaiden), Chris Amy/Amanda Mus (Isabelle, Brooklyn, Oliver), Chantell/Scott Hugill (Colton, Sadie), Anthony/Emma Thomas (Finn, Levi), David/Kezi Slatcher (Amara), Ben/Joeleana Thomas (Noah) and Meghan Campbell/Zach Kearse, along with a number of friends and his group of friends on Social Media.
Glenn was predeceased by his parents Thomas Schneidmiller and June Briggs.
