Sending our condolences to Glen's family, he was a great neighbor a friendly man that always had a smile for us, he will be sadly missed at the lake and forever remembered.

Sorry to hear about Uncle Glen.  I remember the boat rides in the creek as a kid.  Aunt Ruth, Mitchell and Jacqueline my heart goes out to you.

Glen and I shared a lot of laughs and good times over the years.  I will miss his smile and giving him "cheap" shots.  He will be missed.

But generous as he was in life, so now we remain with precious memories of uncountable conversations in gardens, across verandahs, in our houses, and during his daily walks with his twin poodles. We remember his annual "pilgrimage" to our front door bearing the precious gift of his freshly baked apple pie. We remember advice about renovation ventures and his care when we were gone. We remember a good and kind man and a proud Albertan. We remember his smiles.

Karla and I were deeply shocked by the sudden death of Glen last Sunday. We send our deepest sympathy to you and all your family. Glen was a wonderful character who will be missed by us and the whole neighborhood. He was always there to help and  full of  good ideas. Looking at the wonderful photographs we realized how little we knew him. He lived a very interesting life. We had no idea that he was so keen on motor bikes, boating, and fishing even though he had often talked about the cottage that he loved. In fact, our last conversation with him was about the recent storm at the cottage and his plans to repair the deck. He will be truly missed. Irving and Karla
