George Arthur Lightbound passed away peacefully at the Foothills Hospital on September 17, 2020 at the age of 84 years. George is survived by his two children, Cathy (David) and Doug (Rumi) and two beautiful granddaughters Naomi and Kanami. George is also survived by his brother Frank. He was predeceased by his wife Sheila and daughter Cheryl.
George was an avid golfer, dog lover and longtime member of AA. He also volunteered for many years with the Rockyview Grief Support Program in both the loss of spouse and loss of children groups.
His kindness and understanding helped many people through difficult times. George was loved by all and will be deeply missed.
