Eldon Roberts

Eldon Roberts passed from Life to Death to Life Eternal at the Rockyview General Hospital in Calgary, AB on Wednesday, January 12, 2017. Eldon is survived by Una (Preston) his wife of 70 years, his seven children and their spouses; Roy (Sandra), Norman (Connie), Louise (Edward) David, Eric (Gilles Fournier), Emily (Bob) Barr, Darlene (Dave) Mitchel, and Janet. He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren; his younger brother Reginald (Jessie) Hare Bay, NL, several sisters in-law and brothers in-law and his special niece Fronie (Gerald) Critchley and other extended family members, friends and neighbours. He was predeceased by his parents – Daniel and Louise, and 5 brothers. A visitation for family and friends will be held at at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, January 20, 2017 from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at The Salvation Army Glenmore Temple 921 - 68 Ave S.W., Calgary on Saturday, January 21, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a committal service at Queen’s Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to The Salvation Army – Christmas Kettle Campaign 1731 - 29 Street S.W. Calgary, AB T3C 1M6 or The Alzheimer Society Calgary 800 - 7015 McLeod TR S.W., Calgary, AB T2H 2K6.
