Eileen was born in Olds on July 25, 1938. She grew up on a farm east of Olds. She lived her whole life in Olds.
Eileen leaves her sister Betty Prisnie of Calgary; son Michael Tarney of Olds; daughter Jackie Fralic of Edmonton; daughter Vicki Dodd of Fort St. John, B.C.
Eileen was predeceased by her father Charles Hiller, mother Edna Hiller and son Timothy Tarney.
She worked at Olds College from 1979 to 2003 until she retired.
She leaved 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren who she cherished.
