Mr. Douglas Murray Fox

Douglas Murray Fox passed away peacefully at the Sage Hill Retirement Residence in Calgary, Alberta, on Friday, January 13, 2017 at the age of 87 years. He was predeceased by his wife of 59 years Margaret Fox, on November 12, 2016. Doug will be sadly missed by his children Catherine (Marty) Fox, Margot Fox and Doug (Helle Madsen) Fox; grandchild Sophie Fox; cousin Stan (Joyce) Fox, brothers-in-law John (Shirley) Grant and Alistair (Sue) Grant; sister-in-law Joyce Grant; as well as by his nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Douglas’ Life will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Friday, January 20, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made directly to Alzheimer Society of Alberta, 10531 Kingsway Avenue Edmonton, Alberta, T5H 4K1.
