Doreen was the loved sister of her late brother Graham, her sister Mary and their families. She lived for many years in Canada and became a Canadian citizen, working in various fields of education. Doreen never married. She travelled widely pursuing her lifelong interest in the arts. Her last years were spent cared for kindly by the staff of Extendicare Cedars Villa, her companion Jane and her friends. A Memorial Service will be held at FOSTER’S GARDEN CHAPEL, 3220 – 4 Street N.W., Calgary (across from Queen’s Park Cemetery) on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be forwarded to the family via the website www.fostersgardenchapel.ca.
